How to receive the skill: Talk to Glenis (Resturant Owner) in Dunbarton about skills. She will give you the book "Step-By-Step Cooking Skill 101". Read it to learn the skill.

How do I cook?

There are a bunch of types of cooking skills you will learn along the way:
mix, bake, boil, knead, simmer, make noodles, deep-fry, stir-fry, and making pasta.
*Note some of these skills are not yet implemented in NA.*
To be able to cook in the first place you are required to have different cooking equipment depending on what skill of cooking you are using.

Cooking Table:Mixing,kneading,make noodles, make pasta,?
Cooking Knife: Mixing,?
Cooking Dipper:Baking,simmering,deep-fry, stir-fry,?
Cooking Pot (Always Requires Fire): Baking, simmering,deep-fry, stir-fry,?
Rolling pin: Kneading, make noodles, making pasta,?

How do I put meals together and what makes cooking so great,anyway?

All dishes are required to have 2-3 ingrediance. Depending on how much you add certian ingrediance, the recipe gets rated 1-5 stars (*) even failure which leaves you with a pile of trash that can't be used. To get a good-pefect rating, you must add the right percent of each ingrediant.(Yes, It's a guessing game,practially.) The rating of the food dictates what kind of stats you receive,as well. These stats can boost a parties survival rate by giving extra MP or HP, if shared through too many people through the camp skill, the stat effects may dumb down.Also, something extrodinary happens if you get flawless dishes. When your dish is 5 star flawless, it can bring the person who is eating the meal to bliss. It will show up as a cut scene.

How do I rank cooking up?
To rank up the cooking skill, you will have to eat your own highly rated food, read books sold at Aeria's Bookstore in Dunbarton which unlock the different types of cooking skills,(Aeria also has books not seen in her store, but we'll discuss that a bit later), and more.
